Non-Profit Town Hall with Congressman Tom Suozzi


HWCLI is hosting a Town Hall Event strictly for our network of nonprofits and advocates on September 19th at 1 pm at the Cinema Arts Centre with Congressman Suozzi.  This is an opportunity to hear from one of Long Island’s Federal representatives prior to the late September vote and—more importantly—for him to hear from the nonprofit sector about the impact of the impending federal budget on Long Island.

Space is limited so please RSVP to Gina Dorso gdorso@hwcli.com as soon as possible!   This is a unique opportunity to come together in a Town Hall setting to make the needs of Long Island and our sector heard!  We are excited to provide you with this opportunity.

Each organization can have a total of two seats.  If you are an advocate and not an organization, you can have one seat, subject to availability.  Please RSVP quickly to reserve your seats!

 


HWCLI’s 2017 Annual Meeting


We are very excited to invite you to HWCLI’s 2017 Annual Meeting on September 7th.  During this meeting, we will unveil a new meeting structure and share important information about a number of things coming down the pike, including the CBO grant, a new Medicaid initiative and great opportunities that HWCLI is busy creating for our network of nonprofits.  Come and hear about a new vision that expands our work and collaboration with all of you to make Long Island a region that values every individual, family and community!

This event is free to all organizations and individuals who are up to date in their dues. If you are not up to date, please complete this form and pay your dues online or via check.  The price per ticket if not up to date is $25/person and is payable by check to the Health & Welfare Council of Long Island.
