HWCLI collaborates its network of health and human service providers with government, business, educational institutions and community leaders to design comprehensive and sustainable public policies and direct services. We work together with our partners to assess feasibility of projects, discuss resolutions, identify barriers to access, and develop advocacy and educational campaigns. HWCLI's efforts enhance public recognition of the sector, improve its financial stability and have a long-term positive impact on the well-being of Long Islanders in need. HWCLI’s initiatives include:
* Government Contracts
* Combating Hunger on Long Island
* Economic Stability
* Access to Healthcare
* Disaster Response and Recovery
