Welcome to our Videoconferencing!
Generously funded by The Hagedorn Foundation
The Health & Welfare Council of Long Island, in partnership with Family Service League of LI, is proud to host a one of a kind initiative on Long Island which allows the local nonprofit community access to videoconferencing. Funding provided by The Hagedorn Foundation, enables local nonprofits to join the era of virtual communications-for FREE. The Hagedorn Video Conference Centers, located in Bayshore, Riverhead, and Hempstead, provide local NFP’s with an alternative solution to lower the burden of cost and time associated with traveling to meetings, trainings, and seminars.
Videoconferencing uses real time audio and video to bring people at different sites together face-to-face. This is especially beneficial for community based organizations with wide spread offices. Besides the audio and visual transmission of meeting activities, videoconferencing can be used to share documents, computer-displayed information, and whiteboards.
